At the Cutting Edge of Logistics
Autóker Holding Zrt is one of the largest investors and developers on Budapest’s property market. Industrial and logistics facilities are of central importance in the company’s investment portfolio. Autóker Holding Zrt was among the founders of the DEPO Logistics Centre in Törökbálint, and is the sole owner of the Autóker Logistics Park Budapest, located on Ecseri út.

The Törökbálint DEPO Logistics Centre was the first warehouse complex to be built in Hungary; the storage, distribution, and transportation hub has played a central role ever since as the western gateway to Budapest's metropolitan area. The DEPO occupies an excellent location at the junction of the M1, M0, and M7 motorways, and an industrial railway was built to connect it to the main transportation line of the Hungarian State Railways.
The DEPO has 125,000 square metres of warehouse space, while the management plans to construct and let an additional 40,000 square metres. The new, multifunctional warehouses will be handed over when construction on the structure has been completed, allowing for the creation of customized warehouses adapted to clients’ specific needs with respect to layout and size, ranging from 900 to 5,000 square metres. The relatively small warehouses, quite a rarity in the logistics market, are ideal for companies operating along the entire production chain, enabling them to carry out production, packaging, storage, and all manner of administrative tasks at a single location, as the DEPO features an on-site post office, a bank, a restaurant, a free car park, and even a customs office on its premises.
The complex operates its own locomotive, which provides the means for moving railroad cars along the industrial tracks on the warehouse base. In addition, it is possible to load cargo directly onto the transport vehicles, temporarily store goods in- or outdoors, and warehouse or distribute merchandise after re-packaging and commissioning.
The DEPO and Autóker Holding Zrt, which acquired majority ownership of DEPO Logistics Centre Kft in recent years, plan to modernize the heating system, while the installation of the CCTV security system has already been completed, and the development of the roads, railroad tracks, and public utilities is on-going. The gas engine soon to be installed on the DEPO premises will provide the tenants of the facilities with the benefits of a new heating and air-conditioning system.
The Autóker Group intends to devote special attention to the development of the DEPO’s industrial facilities since the 9th district Ecseri út complex, of which the Group is the sole owner, will reach its capacity limit after the ongoing construction of a new 2,000-square-metre hall and expansion of the buildings handed over 3 years ago are completed.
The involvement of foreign investors, and the owners’ experience in the fields of business, management, logistics, and marketing benefit the DEPO warehouse complex greatly, already attracting companies like Drogerie Markt, Militzer+Münch, Roche Hungary Kft, B. International Kft, Lekkerland Kft, CBA-BBK Warehouse, or the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
